Innovations in the Austrian DRG system 2017, model for outpatient sector

In the Austrian DRG system substantial changes have been initiated for 2017. The focus is given on updated relations of point values from the project “post calculation” including methodically adjustments for accounting. For the outpatient sector a similar case group weighted model has been developed, which will be implemented step by step from 2017 to 2019.

University Hospital Graz – Target planning Radiology finalized

Evaluation and update of the Masterplan (Program 2020) in 4 steps. The result is a preconcerted room and functional schedule as well as a forcast of investment costs and consequential costs which are the basis for further planning.

The national standardization outpatient documentation was implementated nationwide by January 1^st, 2014. SOLVE Consulting participated in the preperation on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
